The fan-voted 2020 CMT Music Awards, hosted by Sarah Hyland, Kane Brown and Ashley McBryde, were held last night. The show was shot in various outdoor locations around Nashville, Tenn.
Carrie Underwood took home the top honor at the awards, winning video of the year for her song, “Drinking Alone.” Dan + Shay took duo of the year for their song, “I Should Probably Go To Bed,” and Luke Bryan won male video of the year for “One Margarita.” Other winners included Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who took home the win for collaborative video of the year for “Nobody But You,” and Gabby Barrett won breakthrough video of the year for “I Hope.”
Jennifer Nettles was honored with the inaugural Equal Play Award for her continued advocacy for gender equality within the industry.
